FORETRAVEL MOTORCADE CLUB
The motorcoach lifestyle is different than any other. With freedom for adventure, you have the ability to tour the continent from wilderness outposts to urban sprawl in comfort and style. We, the Foretravel Motorcade Club, understand both the thrills and complications of this exciting lifestyle. Our professional team has organized a program to support and enhance your lifestyle. We bring you together with fellow owners to experience the warm companionship that your travels will bond. We offer a quarterly magazine- The Foretravel Motorcader. We plan, host, and direct numerous travel opportunities around the US and Canada to enhance fellowship and comradery within our owners. With over 40 years experience, our club is one of today's largest and most active owners clubs. For each of our motorcades, we are the only club to have a factory trained service representative pulling a trailer with parts and tools traveling with us. Management of the Foretravel Motorcade Club and its activities is under the leadership of the Motorcade Club Manager, the Club International President and is aided by the International Board of Directors. The soul purpose of this private club is to enhance the enjoyment of your coach through travel and comradery.

LATEST NEWS
International President's Monthly Letter
It's December and the holidays are in full swing. Soon 2020 will be behind us as we look forward to what the New Year has to offer. As I review 2021, I find the Foretravel Motorcade Club to be prospering with a great future. Susan and I are honored to be serving as President and First Lady again and welcome Leo and Ineke Volkert as President-Elect and Second Lady. This year, it has been an extreme pleasure getting to know Foretravel of Texas CEO Lyle Reed better and working closely with him, securing a bright future for our club and Foretravel in general. Giving our members assurance let me say our discussions include exciting plans for years in the future. We recognized Lyle as our "Champion" at Grandvention for his years of support, without which our club would have had difficulty providing the services you've come to expect. This level of support will be continuing as he and I seek to meet your wants as members of our club. We all look forward to attending rallies and motorcades during the New Year. This is who we ARE. We've missed seeing much of our family as we had to cancel many events. I ask those who have not participated in Chapter and Club events; please consider doing so in 2021. If you do, you will continue doing so in the future. Check out all the planned Motorcades offered in 2021. We are excited to bring them to you. The Florida Minicade is of particular interest as it will be much shorter than previous events and allows our working members the occasion to experience the incredible camaraderie and fellowship enjoyed by all. If you've not made it to Alaska with us, 2021 offers another opportunity. I've not talked with anyone who has made this trip that wasn't thrilled. Grandvention and the Virginia/West Virginia motorcade are guaranteed to exceed expectations. The Cherry Blossom has been rescheduled and is sure to bring smiles to all. Here is some exciting news regarding the Grand Villa Reunion. This stroll down memory lane with the Grand Villa owners is open to all club members. We are featuring the Grand Villas, but all are invited and welcome. Lyle Reed has guaranteed we will have plant tours, and Beverly has scheduled delightful entertainment. Hopefully, many Grand Villa owners will open their coaches for look-ins of how outstanding these coaches are. If you're not able to take the time to join one or more of our motorcades, be sure to attend your Chapter's rally and others as well. They're only a few days and will provide entertainment and plenty of social time where you'll make lifetime friends. I know many of you will be very happy to hear a proposal to renew a printed directory. I plan to present this to the Financial Committee and then hopefully to the Executive Board. A printed directory has been requested by many of you, and I want you to understand we're listening. We also would like to know what you desire from YOUR club in the future. Without your input, we'll just be guessing how best to serve you. Remember, it is imperative you get your club dues in now to make sure you will be in our directory on-line and the printed copy. Speaking of club dues, I wish to thank all our members who have seen fit to support our club at a higher membership level. Your confidence, love, and support are greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah! Russ

A note from the Club Manager
The website is coming right along. You will notice a few changes but will find it very much user friendly. Check this out. Once you've signed in with your user name and password, you will discover a new feature. You will now have the ability to make payments online. Even though it's titled 'tour name', you can make your annual dues payment there as well. Hopefully, this will be a little more convenient for some of you. Hopefully, I will see many of you in October at the Grandvention. Until then, take care and stay safe. Beverly

North to Alaska Motorcade
May 25, 2021 - July 13, 2021Have you ever been so engulfed by a photograph or painting, you wished you could just escape into the picture? Well now you can. Join us and let us show you how as we escape to the last frontier. With more reality TV shows centering around life in Alaska, one tends to wonder what’s real and what’s produced for dramatic effects; probably some of both. The Discovery channel and a few others certainly make every attempt to keep us well entertained with shows like the Alaskan Bush People, Alaska the Last Frontier, Living Alaska and The Last Alaskans. Sadly, they’re so busy running from a bear or falling into frozen waters, they forget to show the breathtaking beauty of this state. But do know, we will have fun panning for gold at one of the mines without the drama depicted on the adventures of Gold Rush or Bering Sea Gold. We’ll meet and begin ‘our’ adventure in Dawson Creek and from here, until we finish, it’s just one perfect picture after another. As a tradition, we always leave our legacy on a post at the Sign Post Forest of Watson Lake. A sign with the Foretravel logo, the year and all of the names will be hung on the post. We’ll park on the water’s edge so we can wake up in morning, look out our front windows and see the snowcapped mountains reflection in the water. We’ll say hello to the locals - that would be moose, bear, mountain goats, eagles, etc. along the way where we will find they have no problem posing a few minutes for that photo op. We’ll take several cruises to not miss the beauty of sea life. Once again, have your cameras ready. You’ll not want to miss the opportunity to snap your own picture of the massive whales, playful sea lions and otters. You’ll be able to take an optional helicopter ride to the nearest glacier and just stand in amazement on the sparkling phenomenon. Or take a plane to a small island and salmon fish and bear watch. The culture is unique. The scenery is breath taking. It’s why people keep coming back again and again. Now, what are YOU waiting for? Make 2021 the year you make unforgettable memories in Alaska. Don’t miss out, sign up today. A $500 Deposit will put you on the registration list.

Virginia - West Virginia Motorcade
September 8, 2021 - October 10, 2021Prior to the West Virginia Grandvention, we’ll take in the beauty and history of Virginia and West Virginia with an endless list of things to see and do. We will begin our journey in Virginia Beach, VA and end a few days before the start of the Grandvention in Lewisburg, WV, We will take a paddle boat to Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park and tour the Palladian mansion which houses some interesting stories. Speaking of interesting stories, we will find more than a few when we tour the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. And ‘no’, regardless of any plea, we will not leave anyone there upon request. A visit to the quaint, historic community, of Harpers Ferry National Historical Park at the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers, is like stepping into the past where we stroll the picturesque streets, visit exhibits and museums, or hike trails and battlefields. Want to get a better look of the area? There’s no better place than the top of the Green Bank Observatory. Bring your camera. Now be forewarned, the haunted prison in Moundsville, West Virginia is said to be one of the most haunted places in the country. This particular prison has made the top ten list by the Department of Justice as one of the “most violent”. Another forewarning…. Stay with the group! Perhaps river rafting around the New River Gorge can be arranged or a tour to see the remarkable talents of Appalachian glass blowing. The list can go on and on, but know for sure, you will enjoy every minute and every mile of this incredible motorcade. A $500 Deposit will put your name on the registration list.

October 25, 2021 - October 28, 2021Ladies, the words “Inspections – Post & Pre Trip, Walk Around, Enroute, Pivot Point, Hazards, Eye lead time/Looking into the future, Space Management” have great significance in the Ladies Driving School. This program was designed especially for you! The curriculum is divided into three phases. Phase one is classroom lecture and discussion. The comfortable classroom and driving sessions taught by experienced qualified instructors includes all study guides, manuals and printed material needed for the class as well as for future reference. Detailed walk around and hands on sessions will teach you a basic understanding of your motorcoach. The behind-the-wheel driving time in one of the newest units provided by Foretravel, along with your personal experienced instructor, will provide you with skill and confidence through suggestions and useful information. Husbands or guests are invited to attend several seminars that have been planned for them as well as all included meals. Texas Hill Country Connection
April 1, 2022 - April 15, 2022There is just nothing like the Texas hill country in the spring. Miles and miles of Texas Bluebonnets can make an amateur photographer look quite skilled. Whether we relax on or off the Guadalupe River ,go see what the fuss is about in Luckenbach, or grill a steak at the 11th Street Bar in Bandera, we will soon discover each and every town we visit has their own distinct charm and ambiance. Both history and natural charm are abundant. There is never a lack of reasons to celebrate in Fredericksburg. This Texas German heritage town has more than 300 annual festivals, fairs and special events. As we visit the Alamo in San Antonio, we can walk in the footsteps of Col William Travis, Jim Bowie and Davy Crockett and get a sense of their desperation and determination for the independence they sought from Mexico. We will certainly enjoy a stroll of the River Walk followed by a relaxing riverboat ride down the Guadalupe. While there, we’ll also find the mission tour quite remarkable. The Hill Country prides itself on their many vineyards as well. Oh, and you are going to absolutely love the tour of the Y O Ranch. Yes, yes, they have beautiful long horns. This IS Texas for goodness sakes. But it’s the just the other unique animals not normally associated with the likes of a ranch that will keep you intrigued. We will make the short drive from our campground to tour the famous painted churches. Don’t forget your camera. The drive is beautiful. You’ll be glad you came. Sign up today.

Mississippi River Road Motorcade - Part I
May 6, 2022 - May 31, 2022The first half of the Mississippi River Road will take us from Louisiana to Missouri. We’ll all be a little pumped as we rendezvous in the city of New Orleans, where jazz was born. The history, the legacy, the beauty, and the traditions are what make New Orleans ‘one of a kind’. After a brief stop in Baton Rouge, we’ll cross the border into Mississippi spending time in Vicksburg and Tunica which is just a few miles from Memphis, giving us ample opportunity to pay homage to “the King” before taking in the sights in and around our last stop of St Charles. There’s a lot to see and do on this motorcade which is why we divided it into two parts. Join us for a memorable drive up the Mississippi River Road.

Branson Ultra
October 8, 2022 - October 15, 2022Immediately following the Grandvention, why not stick around for a few more days and continue the fun here in Branson? We’ll let you sleep in then have a get-together along with registration in the afternoon and get this party started. Our schedule will be very versatile because our choices are endless in this city of entertainment. We will book many shows and leave room for other tours on land and water. We won’t miss a tour and meal at the College of the Ozarks or an interesting tour riding the ducks. When boarding the Titanic, each person is given a ticket with the name of one of the original patrons taking that maiden voyage. After the amazing tour of this Museum, it’s always interesting to search the wall in the last room to see if you hold the name of a survivor or one of those lost at sea. We are never disappointed with the exceptional production at the Sight & Sound Theatre. If you’ve never been, you are in for an amazing experience. On your free day, you will have numerous choices. You may decide to be adventurous and head straight to the ziplines or to Run Away Mountain if you want to get your heart really pumping. Then there’s Silver Dollar City that will fill your whole day. And you can never leave without going to Branson Landing for a little shopping and afterwards, sit and take in the beautiful fire & light show. There is one guarantee. We will have plenty to do and see to stay well entertained during our continued stay in Branson. Stick around and hang out with us after the Grandvention.
